rooms
All rooms were recently refurnished and appointed the same with tea & coffee making facilities, personal mini bar, clock radio alarm, TV with Austar cable, DVD player, IDD telephone, iron & ironing board, crisp white linen, feather & down pillows and fluffy doonas. Mountain View, Balcony and 2 Room Family Rooms have deluxe towelling bathrobes and slippers. All ensuites, some new some modernised, have luxurious Aveda spa toiletries and hairdryers and an abundance of fluffy white towels.
The Denman, like most other properties in Thredbo, has been built to suit limitations on space in the National Park. As a result most rooms and ensuites in Thredbo are typically smaller than can be expected elsewhere. The overall rating for the property with the majority of its rooms is 4.5 stars but based on size, some of the smaller rooms would be considered 3.5 to 4 stars as reflected in the rates.
double rooms
Most double rooms are compact with a double bed and have limited resort views. All are on the first floor.
double with mountain view
Similar to the regular double with double bed but with direct mountain views, also located on the first floor.
king/twin rooms
Medium sized with a king bed, most in the chalet style. Some have limited mountain views or resort views on floors one to three.
king/twin with mountain view
Similar to the standard King/Twin but with direct mountain views on floors one to three.
triple with mountain view
Large room with an additional single bed for an extra guest with direct mountain views. These rooms also have dining table and chairs and a flat screen TV and are located off a courtyard with direct street access.
queen room with balcony
Medium sized rooms, 17 to 18 sq metres, with a balcony complimented with table & chairs and outstanding views of the mountain, located on the second and third floors. The top right image on this page is the spectacular view from one of the Queen Balcony rooms.
king/twin room with balcony
Spacious rooms of 30 sq metres with large ensuite, balcony complimented with table and chairs and fabulous views, located on the first floor off the courtyard with direct street access.
family rooms
There are 2 configurations for a family of 2 adults and up to 2 children (2-14 years). One with a king bed and 2 singles, dining table and chairs & occasional furniture located off the courtyard with direct street access and a side view to the mountain. The other styles are more compact rooms with a king and an inbuilt double bunk with occasional furniture but with floor to ceiling direct mountain views. There is another similar room with large side views to the mountain.
2 room family rooms
There are two configurations to suit a larger family or up to 5 adults. Two have a double bed in one room with direct access to the ensuite and 3 singles in the main room. The other has a king in the main room and 3 singles in the other with direct access to the ensuite. These units are between 30 and 32 sq metres in size.
