Clicquot in the Snow 2011

Veuve Clicquot and The Denman Hotel & Spa present the ultimate skiing indulgence – a champagne picnic in the snow on the spectacular slopes of Thredbo, Snowy Mountains. This is part of the Clicquot in the Snow 2011 – a celebration of two of life’s great pleasures, Veuve Clicquot and Aprés ski.

The Clicquot in the Snow returns to Thredbo from 1 – 7 August, with champagne flowing at a series of unique Veuve Clicquot experiences. The village will turn “Clicquot yellow” with events including aprés ski parties, exclusive dinners plus tastings. The highlight – naturally The Denman Hotel’s Degustation Dinner and gorgeous Clicquot Picnics in the Snow!

On Thursday 4th August catch the action at The Denman’s Apres Bar for a night of celebratory Clicquot champagne, delicious canapés, celebrities, gift bags and smooth tunes from the DJ. $60 per person.  Click here to book.

Friday 5th August The Denman Hosts the Clicquot Degustation.  You will be greeted with a flute of Veuve Clicquot on arrival at 6:30pm, seated at 7:00pm for a 7 course degustation dinner with matching Veuve Clicquot champagne and wines. Cost includes all tasting champagne, wines, meals, tasting notes and presentation from our very own Veuve Clicquot Brand Ambassador.  $195 per person.  Click here to book.

The Denman’s famous Picnic in the Snow with Veuve Clicquot takes place on Saturday 6th August.  Enjoy flowing Clicquot champagne and a picnic lunch with the option to ski / snowboard down the stunning Dead Horse Gap off piste run.  Skiiers and boarders must be of at least intermediate level, those not wishing to ski or board can take the complimentry shuttle bus to the picnic.  $120 per person (cost does not include lift pass).  Click here to book.

Clicquot in the Snow started in Aspen in 2007 and has grown in popularity, with the best bars, clubs and restaurants joining in the celebration each season. Australia’s first Clicquot in the snow came to Thredbo in 2010.
